Sometimes wounds at the Front were terrible because the
victimes didn't die. Among such kinds of wounds are those
of radical facial disfigurement. The victim had four
obvious choices:
Hide at home, not to be seen by the public.
Wear a facial mask.
Mental illness.
Committ suicide.
Suicides were probably quite common, governments deal
with such problems by hiding or distorting statistics.
